I picked up this at at thrift store for 8.00. It does have the inside tray that fits above. Just now starting to show a few rust spots. The only big problem is the lid is smashed down. So I need advice on what to do. besides put it on top o my soda machine. Below is the pics. Enjoy.

        Hold the lid on the floor with both feet, then pull up on the handle. Most dented
lids pop out this way.

Lids are the worse on these old coolers. I buy them all the time and they are either missing the lid or the lid is dented / crushed in by it's former owner when he or she used the cooler for a seat.

I wish someone made these lids.
