Dave...is this one of your early machines?  I know it looks nothing like the ones you have on your "me" page, but the "6d" seems right up your alley.  Any thoughts?

My system at home has crashed... I'm checking from work and saw that
machine on Ebay.... I have had half a dozen or so of those machines... They are REAL NICE when done up. Late 30's early 40's machines that vended candy, cigarettes and Wrigleys gum... I did a Beechnut one and a guy in The US wanted it but was too heavy to post.

I can usually (if lucky) pick one up for abour $100.00. They are heavy substantial machines...
Work on an old sixpenny piece (old english money) about the size of a dime.
If I ever get my pictures back I'll post what they can look like... That one is complete and for that
price I would deffo grab it...

If you did get it and wanted the decals for the sides I can get hold of them no problem ... It would just need a strip down and some new paint... I could send some 6d too if need be...

If you don't want it let me know and I'll probably have it if it stays cheap (which as its English it probably will)

Thanks, Dave!  I may take a run at this if it doesn't go too high.  If I win it, I'll definitely be looking for your guidance in its restoration!

Hope you get your system back in order soon!

Got it!  I was the only bidder!  Now I'll be relying on Dave to guide me through the restoration on this one.  This will be a unique candy machine to have, and the wife already has ideas on how to restore it.

I'll post pictures once I receive it, of course!
