Vendo 39 Coke machine needs total restoration, no internal parts.

I've seen the DC one the past few weeks on CL. It is only a few miles from me, but looks pretty empty.

Just won a complete late model V-39 off eBay for $350 - seller will be parting out everything bolted to the machine to me. It even has the handle/dolly kit on it. I have a cabinet!  biggrin

Sweet deal! The drum alone is worth that! Great score. Was the shell of that machine trashed? I hate seeing good machines parted out Sad

Not really - all three hinges were busted and it had the usual beltline rust, but it looked pretty decent. It is just I have a cabinet and compressor and with shipping costs these days....it is cheaper to just have all the parts shipped to me and the seller said they would do it.
Besides - I am saving another machine. It is in Illinois if anyone is interested.

Another case of SMC members helping out other SMC members!!  biggrin
John (Signguy) PM'd me about the machine saying he might be able to pick it up and use the cabinet/door depending on where in IL it was. Turns out it was not far off his travels going to pick up other stuff, so he's getting a free V-39 cabinet/door/compressor and he is going to strip and ship me my stuff.
Thanks John!  happydrinkers
