Hi Guys

got my first Coke Button today..

It has two holes at the bottom and two holes at the top.
Was there some sort of a bracket or something that it was originally fixed to??

Pics? Oh, and congrats,  i know you've been  trying to land one for a while.

I think there was a cross bracket was mounted to the wall, then the button affixed to the bracket. My  Coke button  has the  same four holes., i'd love to know if any one is reproducing the bracket, not skilled enough to try  making my own.

In the interim, I  looped plastic coated wire through the top mounting holes, and  ahnging the button from  a nail.

Managed to find a lump of old wood in the garage that did the trick... Its now up on the wall but I am
completely out of space. So have managed to sqeeze it up close to my computer for the time being until I have a change around...

It has taken me an age to get one but I'mhappy now (for the time being at least)

Thanks

Dave, I have the same button in my house in Singapore. Thanks to Joey! They are just the right size to put in a suitcase. Everyone always asks about the signs and no one here understands why I have Coke sighs in my house. Now I really need a machine!

If the signs confuse them, the machine will really throw them off!  laugh

Congrat's on the Coke Button Dave that is great that you got one,
and sad that you have run out of room so that means your going to
add on to your home  biggrin (just joking)

Josh ,each member will have to start sending you a peice of a machine
of your choice, once a month and by the end of the year you should be done. biggrin

Dave, nice looking button sign,
I'm assuming it's a 16" size?... looks like it... I like that size,, I think I have 8 16", 2 12" and one 36" currently in my collection... I like them when they are mounted on the pilasters signs.
There was a guy making reproduction brackets and mounts in Florida, but of course can't remember who or where he is any longer... if I find it I'll pass it along.
Here is an old photo of how I had some of mine displayed.. it's from the old house...and not a great photo but gives the idea of how they look with pilaster signs.

Pat That is a great Idea!  biggrin It will be like Radar on MASH. He sent home a jeep piece by peice. It is too bad that a small box shipped here from home is about $75 Because that might work biggrin

Or another MASH comparison... we could pack many small pieces in a crate and mark it Medical Supplies and ship it through the military, might take longer, but might not cost as much!!! laugh  again , copied from MASH, when Hawkeye had Ribs from "Adams Ribs" in Chicago, shipped to them in Korea... told the clerk to mark it Medical supplies as they where to be used to practice on ...and the sauce was to be fake blood.. biggrin
I love that show!

me too! we bought the DVD's for all 11 seasons. We have been watching every episode in order from the beginning. We are on the 11th season now and I don't know what we are going to do when they are done. My Dad and I love old TV shows. I grew up watching Andy Griffith with my Dad so we now have all of those DVD and we are going to start those when MASH is over. i just wish TV was as good now as it was then. Heck I am only 26 years old so I wasn't alive then but TV today is junk. What happened to good TV shows.
