Cruzin ebay tonight and ran across this Coke sign.

In it's day, yeah it's a rare sign...this one is completely shot but read the description on the sign from the seller... Quote: " I knew that it was a original 1914 rare coca cola straight sided coca cola bottle sign and i knew that it was going to be an easy restoration all the lettering is embossed the straight sided bottle is embossed and the bottle label is intact and would only be touched up "

Probably read the NOS mint value in a Petretti's book and thought he could sell it for that price. You just never know what the thought process is!

The funny thing was in his Jacobs auction that he had.  If you bought the Jacobs by using the "Buy it now" feature, you get that crappy sign for free!!!!!
