       I was scanning some old photo's today and I thought I would share some of
these with the group.
       I don't always take before and after pictures but this one was an exception!
       Had to fix the bullet hole and weld in new embossed letters. Used a spare VMC
bottle door but managed to save most of the rest of the original unit.


       I don't think I will ever tackle such a difficult a project again... but gosh these
pictures are priceless.

Machine looks great, At first the pitures of the machine didnt look that bad until you blow them up and the story tells. I picked up a 81A at the Pomona swap meet left month for $350.00 Its rough but not as bad as yours.

Wow! I would have never attampted such a project, though I am glad to see such a rough machine saved from the scrap heap.
