Hey folks, what is the workaround for using your soda machines at home?
Is  there a way to make it dispense just from hitting the button?
Thanks!

That is what I was going for originally. But I bought a WC-102MD which has a selector knob you put on what you want before putting in money. So I set it up for a nickel and then keep a little container of coins on top. Then empty it when I restock.

U know, I've already thought about just putting a bunch of quarters out there beside it. Mine is set for .50, then just recycle em. It's just for friends and family anyway.
I sort of like the sound and feel of the money going in.

I've always done that left a cup of dime on top
of what ever machine I've had going out in my garage or down
in the mancave and it's worked out just fine.

THey are Coin operated for a reason and that is part of the nostalgia... Plus it's fun having my buddies, trying to cough up a Dime for a Cold Beer when the come over... I tell them , hey,... where else you going to find a beer for 10 cents!??? but usually give in with the dime cup when they come up empty!

If it's an electric mech, I'm sure there are settings on it... not too familiar with these mechs.. but other members like Johnnie G will get you set up...
Good luck

Either take a pic of your mech, or try to find a make and model... There are usually dip switches to control the price setting.

I keep cups of change on all my machines... Although we had a party a few weeks ago, and it was just easier to tie up the vend solenoid and have it on free play.. I got used to it, and for now my beer machine is free....  biggrin
