My family owns a Westinghouse WD-22 Coca-Cola cooler. It's all original, is in great condition and runs perfect. Upon noticing that similar items sell elsewhere for approximately $6,000.00, we suddenly found ourselves interested in selling it. Does anyone know what the approximate value for this machine might be?

By the way, that photo was taken from this website and is not an actual photo of our Westinghouse WD-22. I will post a photo of our machine shortly.

Unfortunately, the "similar items" that sell for a few thousand dollars are probably different models, restored and just an asking price. Just because an item has a price of $6,000 doesn't mean it sells for this amount; as a matter of fact, very few machines sell for $6K or more and these are usually rare or very desireable models!
If your family has a WD-22 in unrestored complete working condition, I would say the value could be between $200 - $350. Non coin operated, large coolers are less valuable than other models...

The fact that this cooler is so large, is why it is not desirable for home use, space and electricity.
But the place for these beauties is at large functions. Check with your local VFW or Moose lodge, etc. they would enjoy it several times a month. Great party machine!
