Got Some new Toys... I mean tools for the shop over the weekend... Not all hooked up yet, but worked on the wiring today as  I didn't have 220 into the garage yet... Bought the Sandblast cabinet from an outfit called TP Tools, had to assemble myself, and the compressor from a local distributor... My friend who I've been using his stuff has the same setup and it has worked great so Now I don't have to bug him every time I want to blast some stuff... Can't wait to get it up and blasting soon....

Awesome! Yep, having your own compressor and blast cabinet is a HUGE help. It's the beginning step in any good restoration.

My cabinet came from TP tools as well. Looks like your getting geared up for work.

Nice setup and holly crap how many machines do you have? Want to ship one to me in Singapore?  biggrin I would give my left arm for a machine right now. It has almost been two years and I am still going through withdraws.

      Wow.......... biggrin

But you have a few nice originals there you had better pull off the Restoration row.

Which machine are you going to restore first?

Speaking of giving body parts Josh, how are you feeling? Are you all back to normal?

There are few nice originals that will just get a refurb on the inside and hopefully the original paint will clean up nice enough to keep... we'll see...
First off the line are a cuple 81's two A's and a B. Already Blasted the bodies and doors, and got all the parts... just need paint and assembly...
Then I'll tackle a VMC 27...
Just wish I had the time to work on it...
These are the machines I bought from Dale Laroche... Not sure if I told the story or not, but if you know Dale he has been restoring machines for years, and always did a top notch job.... he wanted to get out of it and sold me the Whole works, 16 Total machines, Parts, all new restoration parts, templates for making parts, etc.... plus it was just fun visiting with a guy who has restored over 250 machines in his day from Vendo 81's, Jacobs Pepsi lightups, you name it he has worked on it, including owning 2 Vendo Decappers!!!
The problem is I still find myself looking on Craigslist and Ebay and Garage sales etc for MORE STUFF>.. I just can't stop my self.... Looking at another Stoner Jr. this weekend!!
I would be willing to sell off a few machines in current condition with parts for restoration, so contact me and we'll talk!
