How do I get the light bulb out of the Bottle Door in my Cav 64? I was able to do it one time,
but I can't seem to get it now. The Bulb in it was a 7-watt bulb similar to the ones used in night lights.
Is that the right bulb?

yes it is a night light bulb which you can use a 7 or 4 watt bulb.  I would use the 7 watt bulb.  The bulb is hard to get out, but when you replace it put a little dielectric grease on the threads so it will be easier to get out next time.

If the lamp is stuck in it's socket, open the main door & go to the top right inside edge & remove the two retaining screws that hold the entire lamp-socket in place, now you have complete access to the lamp & socket to remove the bulb, ( wear gloves incase it shatters)

The original post was from 2007. Hopefully he figured out how to change the bulb since then.   tounge
