When in a pinch

use your machine to keep food cold.
Our new refrigerator and range were supposed to be delivered by Lowe's today during a window of 12:30-4:30 pm. (Originally it was supposed to be on Saturday, but they called at 7:15 am Sat. to change it due to damaged items). Well, they called this afternoon and said they were running about 1 1/2 hours outside of their window. At 6pm we called them back and they said it would be at least another 1 1/2 hours. I sold our old fridge on Craigslist and they already picked that up today (we thought we would have the new one by now). So the food we had left was on the deck or in coolers. Now at 10:20 pm cheeses, pickles, chocolate milk, orange juice, etc. are being kept inside the Vendo 63 and USS Cavalier machines.

These old machines do come in handy. I take some of the shelves out of one of the 56's and we use it for storage when all the relatives are over for Thanksgiving. Plus I used one of the old picnic coolers as an ice server, everyone was amazed that the ice stayed good in it all day.
That must be an ongoing problem with Lowes, we just bought a washer and dryer from them and they missed thier delivery time by about 5 hours....

I've pretty much written them off tonight.

Good idea. Never thought about it, I just have them sitting around doing nothing.
