Can anyone give me a value for an unrestored Cavalier CGD-C.  I tried posting with a picture yet it stated it was to big.  I will gladly email anyone if needed.  I am pricing it for $1000 in a garage sale this weekend, yet I think I may be out of line. I need to know what the top dollar I can ask for with no haggling due to the $ is going to pay for upcoming medical tests needed that ins doesn't pay. If anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jen

Jen,
Pictures will be needed for a proper valuation; however, $1000 is definately too high for such a large cooler.
I would venture a guess (without seeing it) that even in mint condition, I don't think you would get $500 for it - it is just too big for most people!
But post some pics if you can and we'll see what other members might say!

After researching this all day ---I have found my treasure is rusty and only one compartment opening still has the cover with the insulation intact.---I don't think my hugh antique is all that valuable. smile  I finally figured out the picture size attachment. Sorry I didn't attach org.
