I think $200 is a decent price.. they have been going for $800+ working.. the guy doesn't give much info as to what may be wrong.

I just looked it up on KLOV  http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?game_id=9662

They also list a few ebay auctions and the prices are fairly low...  tounge

That looks like it may be a very nice machine. I'd just probe the seller and try to find out if he knows what the problem might be. It could be something as simple as reseating a board or connector.

Well got email back from the seller. Not much for andditional info. Trying to set up a look see Thurs. If the main board is total toast what is replacement cost? Not too worried about the rest P/S, monitor, controls etc....
(edit) What is the best way to drag one of these home? Upright or on it's back. Would think the monitor is not going to like bounces.

Thanks All!!!

I've brought machines home standing up and laying down. I haven't had any issues either way. Some of the pictures I've seen people doing, I think as long as it makes it home in the back of the truck with nothing breaking the glass, its good. I've read about re-seating chips on the pc boards fixes many issues. It was part of the problem with my Robotron. There are many parts around for SI. I've seen places fix boards for $150 or so flat fee.

Most of the time I see Video games being transported, they are upright. If you have the ability, I would think this would be the preferred method.

Guy emailed, nope I can't look at it until Sat. Explained that I won't be in town Sat. Told him to let me know if it doesn't sell. He has around 9 various working and almost video games on CL right now. Claims no time to see what is wrong. I'm of the opinion he knows what is wrong and it isn't an easy fix. Will see what happens come Monday.
Thanks for all the help!!

Some people just aren't technical. My Robotron game had a few minor issues, but was basically a pretty easy fix. The guy I bought it from didn't know where to start, and just wanted the machine out of his way. There is a load of help out there on these games. I learned a lot on Robotron, and had a lot of fun at the same time. I am currently working on a deal to get a non working Pac-Man and possibly my first Pin. I should know some more tonite. If the cabinet is in good shape and it looks complete inside, go for it. I think there are a few gamers here that can help make it work.
