Hello,

I am looking for some information on a syrup dispenser that I own.  I bought it about 40 years ago for $10.00. It was made by the Multiplex company and is a model 45 C.  It is in the shape of a barrel and is lined with stainless steel.  Inside, it has two syrup tanks.  Outside it has two faucets and is internally plumbed for hookup to a carbonated water line.  It has a coke sticker (round) about 2 inches (faded) and three metal signs labeled "Nesbitts Old Fashioned Root Beer.  It also has the words "Drink Coca Cola Ice Cold" painted on the side in white paint (which is somewhat scratched but could be restored).  It is in very good condition and has been stored inside since I bought it.

1) Could any one give me an idea as to what it would be worth today to a collector?

2) Any Ideas on how to hook it up?

3) The two plastic nozzles on the faucets are broken.  Could anyone tell me where I might be able to find replacements?

Any information that people could give me on these issues would be appreciated. I tried to take pictures and post them but they were too large.

Thank you.

Thank you for the reply.  I was going to contact Steve at Funtronics.  I thought the part was called a Delrin Faucet Nozzle ( and that they were $35 each).  I have the price list from the Multiplex company that I had in 1972.  The plastic nozzles then were 63 cents. What a change, eh?
