Hello all,
I have a chance to purchase a Vendo 63 coke machine. Can anyone give me some idea as to what it would be worth in poor-average-pristine condition? It has the fake wood front, not the nice red paint.

The machines condition is what matters. Is it complete, cooling/vending systems work? A picture always helps. Can't really sort any kind of value without more info. Let us know.

Well, a funny thing happened on the way to a coke machine deal. The seller indeed had a Vendo 63, but it wasn't what he was selling. Instead, he was selling what I believe is a Vendo 90. It looks exactly like the 63, except taller with 10 dispensing ports.
Condition wise, it has a few little nicks and scratches here and there from use, but it's complete and everything works.
We decided to buy it simply because we want a machine for the coke collection, and they don't come up for sale around here very often. We paid $400 Cdn, which may be high or low but it's too late now for second thoughts!
It's coming home on Friday. I'll post some pictures of it then.

As long as you're happy with the machine, it's complete, functioning properly & was affordable...

OK folks, the coke machine arrived today, and I STILL don't really know what we have! I've attached a photo.
The right side of it has an identification plate. On it is:
mfr's no. 01C1100AE
sales model HA110-10
serial no. OPK 013633
The "OPK" in the serial number is stamped above where it should be, partially on top of the first digits of the manufacturer's number.
I can't find any reference to the sales model, HA110-10, anywhere. This is the number that I thought would nail down it's identification.
There is a sticker inside of the coin mechanism door:
"When ordering parts, give the following information"
model no: 01C-1100-AE-0002-A104-0000 (handwritten)
serial no: OPK 13633 (stamped in ink)
The compressor also has a plate with numbers stamped on it:
008 - no indication of what this stands for, in a box by itself
model serial # V25TC599184
voltage 115
cycle 50-60
refrigerant 12
oz 12.5
phase 1
(RL?) amps 3.7
LR amps 28.0
part no. D113992
Any help identifying this coke machine would be greatly appreciated.

You have a very nice Vendo 110. The number indicates bottle capacity, 10 shelves each holding 11 bottles. Glen

But, I was under the impression that the vendo 110 looked like this:

The vendo list on this web site doesn't contain a 110 bottle square shouldered machine. The machines that look the closest are the 63 and 90, but as you said, they don't hold the right number of bottles. Could the list be missing a model?
My machine is 64" tall, 32" wide, and 23 3/8" deep.

Unfortumately, we are missing models but add new ones from month to month as we acquire good reference photos and accurate specifications from service manuals, brochures or catalogs etc...
Generally, a model isn't listed because of either reason listed above: no documentation for specifications or no good picture for reference. I just recently began listing models without specifications if I have a photo so visitors can at least have a good reference, but generally, I need to have accurate data on models specifications so I can include the machine model in any particular manufacturer listing...
At any rate, as Glen has stated, you have a Vendo 110 that appears to have been manufactured in the early 70's...

OK Jim, that makes sense. It isn't quite as old as I was hoping for, but I guess 30 years will have to do.  '>
Thanks for taking the time to put this site together. If you need any more specific information (measurements, more detailed photos, etc) on this model, just let me know.
The machine is running fine, if a bit loud. It's downstairs in the basement family room, and when the compressor kicks in, I can hear it upstairs in the bedroom. I'm undecided if I'm going to keep it plugged in or not. Time will tell.
