Pat I just bought a 7 up embossed 55 slider.  It has some issues and all the wiring is gone.  I am going to see if I can hook it up to see if the compressor is any good.  If not I will probably part it out and it does have a rack.  I just get to work on these in my spare time so it may be a few days but I may have a rack that I would sell for a reasonable cost...I will let you know...

yes Pat it is complete. This is an older rack with the cylinder type lock in the top left corner.  The machine is complete it was just outside and all of the wiring is missing from the compressor and it has some rust issues but just the bottom band that sets on the ground.

Pat, I had some time today and wired up the compressor and it worked.  I am going to restore the cooler but I will help you watch for a rack,  if you do not run across one first...

Hey Pat, contact Ben Smith 417-881-4580 I bought my rack from him powdercoated ready to install. I also think he makes them for the 20oz bottles as well. he also sells new stainless lids, decals etc. If he wont ship let me know I go up in his neck of the woods often and can pick up for you.

Pat heres a picture of the slider rack, I wasnt to fond on some of the welding but it did include a flapper If you look at were the two cross pieces are attached to the bars that the bottles hang from you an see his blob of spot welds.

Zadd I think the lids were $150.00 I talked with him 2 weeks ago and he said stainless has nearly doubled. So I would call to comfirm.

Heres a picture of his lid, hinge holes and handle holes were not drilled. But it did include the original style rivets for the hinges. The decal under the lid was $20.00

Thanks!
Love the slider... very sharp... too nice for me though... Id' be afraid of getting finger prints on it or something.. biggrin tounge

I believe the racks are $150.00 it was a year ago so I may be wrong, as for the hard parts Ive bought main door liners from Home Arcade, and Funtronics both were the same and equally nice. I bought misc stuff from Soda Jerks and they were just as nice parts that were bought from the other two.

It is my understanding that all suppliers get their door liners from
the same manufacturer and no they do not fit right!
I was finishing an 81 last week and discovered I was out of
liners. I had a homemade galvanived liner someone made and I
used it to hold the insulation in place until new ones arrived.
The holes in the galvanized were lined up perfect with the
holes in the door. The new liner is basicly too small. It's like
the engineer lined the holes up on a flat plane, but when that
linear dimple was stamped all around, it brought all 4 sides inward
about 1/8 " See pic of new liner on top of galvanized.
Until a new stamping is developed these will have to be
centered and new holes drilled in the door..
