Buddy,
I usually don't recommend using a 3 in 1 start kit but in this case,
I think it would help out in the diagnosis. Pull the compressor cover,
remove the overload and relay. There are 3 pin terminals in a triangle
top 2...left side is common, right side is start, and the 3rd on the bottom
is your run terminal. You'll need this info for the start kit.
Go to an appliance dealer or a Grainger supply. Tie everything up. If the
unit won't start this way...it's shot!
