Hello again everyone,

Please be patient with me over the next couple of days as we get to the final stages of migrating over to the New SMC Site...

I only ask that you take your time and familiarize yourself with some of the features within this System. There are a few outstanding issues I'm aware of, but for the sake of simplicity, start a new thread for all the issues you encounter so I can begin to review these and finally address them as we move forward...

Thank you for your patience!
When the dust settles, everyone will be happy with the New Site...

Hello everyone,

Well, it appears that the final migration has succeeded ! ! !

I do have a few issues to discuss...

1. Not all of the members have been migrated, I think there were 359 and I'm showing 329...
   a. There were errors during the database conversion which I couldn't solve...
   b. So, I'm publicly apologizing to these 30 or so users/members that will have to re-register once they visit..
2. Just for clarification, all users/members have a Main Site Profile accessible from the User Menu that displays after you login.
   a. This area needs to be visited by each person and edited for accurate information.
Once there, Edit --> Update Profile; I only ask everyone to ensure the City, State and Zip Code fields are filled in and correct.
   b. The Profile located in the New Discussion Areas is the second profile and has items pertaining to the Forums System such as Signatures. There seems to be several members that may have to edit their signature to display properly...
3. There are several formatting issues I will be fixing in the coming days; however, I do appreciate you passing on any problems or issues you stumble upon so I can add them to my "to-do-list"...

As we move forward from here, things will eventually smooth out as we all adjust to our new surroundings... I encourage everyone to explore all the various features, new navigation, and other things that present themselves...

With this said, you may see things change, disappear or even appear as I implement/modify changes throughout the Site

And above all, with a community like this, the effort was worth the rewards ! ! !

Lastly, I want to Thank everyone for your patience, persistence and help that you have given; especially for the days ahead... There may be more ground for me to cover...

I was one of the 30. down

I haven't been around in a while, and I was rejected like a slug when I tried to sign in. However, all is well... I have re-registered, but lost my post count and have to start over. I guess I'd best get busy!
