I know that sounds like a stupid question, but I am looking at a Stoner gum machine, and I have no clue what to look for ... in a good one.

Here's the gum machine

Do they make replacement knobs for these little machines?  Can you find a lock?

It's just so cute ... and seems to be a good buy ... and it would go so nice next to my Stoner 180.

Thanks for any help you can send my way.

Shelly

If he shipped to the UK I would have jumped on that... For that price I think its a bargain.

Curtis might be able to source knobs (not sure). Don't think the lock is anything special.

Decals are available for the glass..

Eric..... Where are you?'<img'> (He has two)

Hello & welcome, I've had one of these Gum machines before myself & it seems that the pull-levers were a bit small than a standard Stoner Candy machines levers, but I've sent an email to Capitol vending of maryland as they restore Stoners & may be the best source of some info on these vendors...hopefully I'll here back from them shortly, but you can "Google" them yourself as well, they sell their machines on Ebay too...

I'll take pictures tonight and post them for you.... there should be a little coin box that's removeble inside... I don't know of anyone that makes or sells repro knobs for these... they are smaller than the other Stoner
machines knobs... there was a guy that had made decals for the gum
machines that sold on eBay.. I'll check to see If I kept his name...
these are cool...
Curtis restores the bigger Stoners maybe he could help out on find stuff for these little guys too.

I would be interested in gathering for parts, decals, etc. so in the future, I can restore the one I have. So posting here would be great!

Wow... it's already sold....
Here's what I kept about the guy on ebay  that sold the fresh gum decal for these little machines...
cut & paste...

They are vinyl and they are decals and go inside in the machine.  Decals are 10.00.  They are very nice you will be very happy with them.   If you would like one you can Paypal $11.00 to jkasten4@msn.com

Thanks for looking!  Jeff Kasten

I'd email him first... to see if he still has them or makes them?......
