La crosse 7up machine

Hello everyone,   I just purchased this La Crosse 7up machine, It looks great, lights up and displays very well, no rust on the exterior, and I have the keys. Inside though is very dirty, with some rusting of the vend racks, and not sure about the operation of the machine, because right now the thermostat is set to off because I had to transport it on its back, and was told to leave it sit for a few days for the oil to settle down. also the mars coin mech. just spits the coins back out to the change slot.  If anyone could give me some info on this item I would greatly appreciate it, (year, parts availability, manuals, etc this is my first machine, I hope its not going to be a horrible experience
