Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

Looks to be a great find, and a nice original machine. You gonna paint it red and put some coke logos on it?

Nice Find... and 450... that's a pretty good price for this right? I am trying to buy one from a guy in Minneapolis but he is set on a $1000 asking price... Thinks it's a vintage 50's style machine... trying to convince him otherwise... I'll send thim this posting..
Congrats

That looks to be a fairly rare machine. But I have never really seen the brand around here in the North east. Non embossed correct?

Thanks, yea I thought I'd strip it down & roller paint it red & stick some sprite-boy stickers allover it ...NOT!
It's a silk screened/ painted logo (non-embossed but at least it's not a decal) & the machine appears to be original acording to the seller, he's the owner of two other machines, (a Coke Vendo & a Pepsi VMC ) & was triming down his collection, I really like the turquoise color. & of course the external coin-door! I saw a simular machine sell over on the west coast for $750 earlier this year ( also a Faygo VMC 56) but it had some horizontal pin-striping along with the Faygo shield, it was the same color as this machine. only wi!%@$ was a crank-handled model, but I think it a good Find!
Now I have to decide if I want to make it my new favorite over my little light up faygo VF56 Westinghouse MD60 select-a-matic or the Bireley's Slider...... ahh soda machine luv can be so fickle!

John, Do you still have the Birely's slider? If you do I have a present for you. When I come back to the states I will mail it to you. Birely's is huge in Thailand. I found a nice clean 12 oz Thai Birely's bottle when I was there last time. It reminded me of your slider and I picked it up for you. If you want it.
