Remember the mergers a few years ago? Federal Trade
Commission allowed our largest oil companies to collude and
become even larger, eg. Exon/Mobil etc.  Price of gas immediately
started rising and oil companies have ever since been reporting
record profits.

Could big oil and government be sleeping together?  '<img'>

Anyone else notice a drop?  It dropped about 5 cents a gallon over Memorial Day weekend and is down about 8 cents total since then to around $2.97.

What is p**sing me off is our sales are way down. I asked some of the better customers and they said gas prices were cutting into the money for toys. Something be very wrong when hard working folks extra money all goes to gas and bills.
Rant/soapbox off :-)

Just So you know  over Memorial weekend The price hit $3.68 and I even
saw $3.75 for reg. unleaded, Well now it June 5 and the price has dropped
 to $3.35 to $3.27 a gallon.
Now there is a  Cyclone  Heading for oil rich Persian Gulf they are saying it may skirt
or lose strength  before hitting  the most important oil installations there.
Well here we go again  I can see $4.00 a gallon  before July 4  watch and see  ':O' .
Oh And this is the price in Lansing MI , The State that is in a one state recession.

 OOP's went off again

The prices by me (NW Indiana) got up to about $3.60 and last night I filled up at $3.33.  Here in Nashville, IN it is $3.39 (I thought gas was cheaper down south) but I passed a few truck stops south of Indy today that had regular unleaded gas for $3.15!!!  ':O'

Dropped 2 more cents last night to $2.95.  I know it still isn't cheap, but it is good to at least see it headed in the right direction.
