I love my 07 Ford F 350, 1 ton, Crew Cab, FX 4x4, w/325 hp powerstroke diesel.
I pay $2.58 gal for diesel here in the Houston area.
All the hybrid driv'in, tree hugg'in wack jobs can all kiss my a**. How do they think their plastic fantastic cars show up to the dealerships...magic? We need to stop relying on middle eastern countries for our well being. Start the drills off the West coast, start drilling in the north, start developing new fuels...what ever it takes to get us off the nipple of the middle east...damn! If oil was drilled for, right here, in the good ol' USA, or alt. fuels...made right here, I'd be happy to pay $5/gal knowing I wouldn't have to give those people one more dime.
They can have my truck, when they pry the steering wheel from my COLD...DEAD...FINGERS! It's a TEXAS thing...
I feel better...thanks! '>

Ouch! I passed an Exxon and another that were still at $2.98, but I am sure it will go above $3 soon. The others all have.

anybody have E85 available? we've got it here in Conroe and it's running $2.59 gal. if you have a flex fuel vehicle...no problem. i use it anyway, in a 25% blend with regular unleaded. i have an 05 ford ranger, v6, and it seems to run fine. any more than 25%, will trip the check engine light but is easily reset by removing the battery terminal for about 10 minutes to reset the computer and fill back up with regular gas.
