Hello,

I have a couple question about this machine on craiglist. '<img'>

Here is the posting in case picture dont show up.

http://denver.craigslist.org/clt/313713673.html

Is this a Vendo 63? At first I thought it was, after comparing to others, Im not 100% certain.

Also will this machine take bottles as well as cans?  It says served in cans on front.

Thanks,
Frank

Vendo 56, with can stack looks to be in fairly nice condition. New compressor is a plus as well, I dont know if it will vend bottles are not??

V-56 Can only machine. No bottles. Has the can puncher so it is a first generation can machine.  I think they are great. If I ever get some spare time the can puncher could be moded to make it a can crusher.

Actually it is a vendo 63 with a can stack. It is not a 56.

Wouldn't that vend bottles also? What would keep it from doing so?

There is a little arm that pushes the can out when you lift the flap. The bottles are too long and won't work

It doesn't have the can punch either... That box to the right of the bottle opener is the door lock.

Bottles don't work because the opening of the can stack is too short.... The bottles are longer and don't fit through the stack. I also tried the mini bottles of water, but couldn't get them to vend consistently.

I was once told that the little 6oz bottles would work . '<img'>

I tried it once with a 6.5 ounch bottle and it woundn't work. the finger that pushes the can out always hit the bottle so you couldn't lift the flap. They are nice though. Bottles are hard to find. Bottles are better but at least you can fill a machine with cans cheep. Also here in asia the cans are cane sugar also so they aren't too bad.

My outdoor patio machine is a can V56. I chose cans specifically for the refill price factor... the kids only drink 1/4 of the can and then leave it laying around anyway...
