It's awesome, not really worth what they're asking, but still--great vintage soda piece by the day's best pin-up artist. What more could you ask? Why, if I was made out of money..... '<img'>

So what does it mean when you start seeing old soda n vending stuff everywhere you go? '<img'>

It means a whole lot of regulars are nodding their heads in understanding.

It is a great peice of art, but $35K? Ouch, I may need to start playing the Megamillions, and hit big  to  pay for my want it, gotta have it, darn that is so cool list.

Yeah, this place has always been jaw-droppingly high for pin-up art. They usually run about double what you can buy a similar piece by the same artist for at a reputable auction house--which is still nowhere near affordable(by me, anyway), but I'd say it's worth 20k. A head & shoulders portrait by Rolf runs between 5&10k. Most pin-ups of the era were advertising pieces for various enterprises including soda, but the actual lettering, etc. was in many/most cases added later by the printers. I don't think I've seen an original soda pin-up this old before--and I know pin-ups better than I know vending machines. Makes this one really cool--I think, anyway.
