<sigh>
It all started with a Vendo 63 - cheap, fun, it worked! Ice cold water and pop! Now, in my very small garage, I have another Vendo 63 ($60 - going to be some kind of theme machine, I think, when I find spare time), a Cavalier C4-96G ($100ish), a working 7-up embossed Ideal 55 slider with everything but the coin box ($400), and soon a Stoner 180 ($350).
I am now exibiting signs of addictive behavior - surfing the net and reading the want ads under the cover of darkness after the kids have gone to bed ... hiding my purchases (the Ideal 55 is under an old comforter) so that my kids won't rat me out to my family ... and finagling creative and secretive ways to get my treasures home as I don't have a truck (it's amazing what you can fit in the back of a 1995 Honda Odyssey)!
The height (or deepest depth) of my addiction? I want a Popperette! Oh, do I want a Popperette!
I may not post much here, but I do lurk a lot, and really appreciate the wealth of knowledge here!

Ha! So true, first comes the storage unit, then you try to figure out once that is filled where to put new items. Garage gets full and yet, you keep buying! Fun though, isnt it!!!!

Looks/sounds like you have an excellent start! Not only is it a fun hobby, it's also a great way to network and to meet some super-cool people. Without this site, I would have been dead in the water a multitude of times!
I know exactly what you mean about Honda's and thier uncanny ability to hold stuff. My 2003 Honda Accord has done everything from transporting a Stoner Jr., a Popperette and all of the lumber for framing my basement!!
Let me know if you ever get any leads on a Popperette. I will snoop around and see if I can find any leads from a couple of other Popperette owners and the guy that I got mine from.

I agree with everything others have said with the exception of you hiding your habit from the family! Kids as well as any other family members are great networking tools too ! ! ! Perhaps they'll uncover something that will be worth while...

Shelly, are you implying that machines are just "following you home" ? '>
