Just an update for everyone...
I was able to scan the certificate and will be researching the font(s) used and then move into Illustrator to recreate the document. It would probably look best if printed on old looking paper stock too!
In a few days, I'll post part of the cert for direction from some of you that may know the font off the top of your head... Well, maybe Eric can share his expertise...

QUOTE It would probably look best if printed on old looking paper stock too! When I had this scanned, I had planned to re-create this document onto orginal looking yellow paper. Had to search the store quite a while to find a close match but it still doesn't look as authentic as the original. This post may lead to a paper search '>

OK everyone, here's a scan of the certificate with a border included for looks since it actually came as two pieces, the certificate and the border lays on top...
If anyone can identify the font used in the title and name, it would greatly simplify things for me... I would like to keep this as authentic as possible!
Thanks

Jim, Linda thinks Adobe "New England Gothic" would get you close. She's on the phone but will check soon. Creighton

Looks like the font in the arch is compressed a little too.... to make room... I've gone through all my fonts here at work with nothing dead on. The upper case C and R seem to look different than the rest of the upper case.... the M, L and H look to be more “scripty” (my own word there) '> I'll keep looking... I have a disc somewhere burried at home with 2000 fonts.... I'll look through its hand written type fonts...

The "h" in Hanson doesn't even look to be capitalized... A typo...? As far as I can tell, it appears that all the caps look like slightly different fonts but in the same family... '>

Look at the lower case a in Repair and the one in Leonard 2 different fonts and the H does look to be lower case...
You may just want to find a font and create it your own way It will still have the feel..... I'll still do some looking here unless there is a rush.... does the bottle and art need to be redrawn?... I could do that and the sig?
Oh and I'm working on the Dr Pepper decal just a little update there.... '>
