This is the right place, I'm sure someone here will be able to answer some of your questions. It appears to be a jug that is inserted into the base, is this correct? How do you know its Nesbitts?

Thank you, yes it's a glass jug that you afix the tap to and it then sits in a base that is clamped to a table, it has nesbitts stamped on the tap itself and also the label on the jug is nesbitts. I would like to post another pic but it doesn't seem to be working

Nesbitt's used that same style of glass on thier bottles during the 40's and 50's.. Does this have a paper label on the jug or is it embossed into the glass. What you may have is a syrup bottle with a fountain tap if it is a paper label and the glass ring to hold it with if so with the fountain tap 30 to 40 dollars. If it is an embossed jug with an embossed fountain tap 100 to 150 if the bottle is in good condition. Just my opinion...

There was one on ebay awhile back that sold for 150-200 bucks. Are you interested in selling it?
