Got the top finished and the stripe on the top and sides. I also repainted all the black trim

Not bad for the first time huh?

I just found 2 more css-8-64's.  I am going to stock pile these because I have a feeling they will fetch a good price in 5-10 yrs

I think it looks good.  It really comes down to what your expectations and desires are.  For me, I don't need a showroom finish, but I understand why many here are looking for that or very close thereto.

You might have seen this mentioned before, but be careful with the clear coats in a spray can.  They can sometimes cause bubbling.  Try a test area first before you go to town on your machine.

I think using the auto spray paint is much better than what you can buy from the hardware store. To give you an idea you need to apply pressure with a screw driver to scratch the finish.  The clearcoat came out very nice as I checked it before going to work. It came out so well that it blends in with the factory paint job. I plan on painting the sides soon as well. Where can I find the sticker decals for the sides?
