Well, I just got a new toy.... I picked up my first arcade game.. I don't remember the game, but its Time Pilot. The game is pretty cool.. its in decent shape and the monitor is pretty clear. I'll get some pics of it tonite when I move it into its new home. Eventually, I would do a paint job and some new artwork, but for $100 for a working game, I can't complain.

Here it is on KLOV  -

I have to agree!
An arcade game in decent shape that can be played with now is worth $100 ! ! !

Wow,

I'm really dating myself...I DO remember the game, as a teenager. Starts out in the WWI era progressing thru the years into the future. Pretty cool game!

It's not that I am that young that I don't remember it, but it just wasn't on my list of quarters... But, yup that the game...  '<img'>

The guy said he may be listing an Asteroids game soon for about $500. I told him to let me know before he posted it... Thats a bit high for me, but who knows....  ':<img:'>

NICE SCORE...This was my favorite game to play when we were going to the arcades in the early 80's. Starts out in WWI-WWII-Vietnam-Space Ships at the end...then you start all over again. You should have a ball playing it.

Played one of these a few years ago, not nearly as good as I was then, but that can be said for a lot of other stuff as well  '<img'>

Terry.. I thought that was a good price, but wasn't sure. I told the guy to let me know before he posted it. I may email him and remind him.

Cormy.. I don't remember this game, but I am quickly having a lot of fun with it. My youngest is pretty good at it already, although I did finally beat his high score...   '<img'>

Time Pilot looks to be in awesome shape.  Good score!  About 10 years ago I got my father Frogger and he already had Pole Position II.  He loves/ed the games but these old games can be temper mental and break down.  Finding someone to fix them can be a royal PITA.  FOr myself, I built a make-shift M.A.M.E. cabinet and enjoy playing a number of the games.  Obviously MAME isn't for the purists though...

The Asteroids game just hit Craigslist not too long after I left apparently. This is the spot where Time Pilot was... I just can't swing the extra $500 right now..  '<img'> I'm picking up a popcorn machine this weekend as well '<img'>

On my Time Pilot, The Marquee is blinking, so I'm sure the ballast is bad, but other than that it works great. The controls are tight, and the screen is crisp.  My thought was that for $100 I would gut it if it was bad and make a MAME cabinet from it. But not with this one... works to good to gut it.
