Found a few signs on Ebay in my daily trawl.

Anyone care to guess weather this is real or just repro?
The seller is brand new.

Number - 140092833903

How about this. I think it might be an old button with a decal plastered on the front. Anyone have any other suggestions.

This I think might be for real. But need an experts opinion.

Number -  200086039889

Sorry have tried to get the links to work without success. It might be becasue I'm at work with limitted access.

Thanks

Dave

The last one, the pilaster sign with the six pack, is original.

The first one (on the brick wall) is original, but I am a bit wary of it...I seem to remember that picture in a previous US auction. The seller has zero feedback and is selling his collection, but right now nothing else is listed.  I am going to see if I can find the previous auction I am thinking about.

I am not sure about the button sign.

I believe all three of them are original.
As far as the legitimacy of the new seller, I wouldn't know for sure.
Ask if you can come by with cash if you win?
If he says no, gives a bogus answer or doesn't answer, don't bid.

the Small button sign, although not originally mounted to wood, is original, looks to be the 12" size.  They where originally blank white and where designed to have a decal applied like it is. there are several versions of white buttons as there where severl decals made for this use. The Six Pack pilaster sign is also original, however not in great shape, but if it goes cheap, would't be a bad pickup. i have a few pilasters with buttons which look great on a wall! Good Luck!

Well

I missed out on th4e button. Could kick myself on that one.

BUT ...... Have just won this one.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws....=1&rd=1

Would be nice if it were for real. But  think that this has fake/scam written all over it.

Wish me luck...

The one shown isn't a repro, as long as he actually has it.

I'm wondering where Dave will hang it.
Didn't he say he was running out of wallspace.
Over the stoop would be a fantastic spot! ':O'
The wife will really love you then.
Seriously Dave - I hope the transaction works out.
It would make a great backdrop to the sales booth you've mentioned recently.
