Normally, the MD series machines had several selections, which would be dramatically different from your model.
The wiring in yours is very simple - mainly power to compressor and fans, etc.
The MD would have selectors, switches and relays, etc. and no crank handle.
Other than the dual chute, it looks pretty darn similar to the WC-42T inside and out.
For the 42T, my manual says this about loading:
1. Load by inserting the bottom bottle in each stack, past the bottle retainer, crown end first. Place neck of bottle on the bottle guide bracket at the rear of stack. The butt of the bottle will rest on the vend disc. Press bottle to the rear of stack.
2. Load a second bottle in each stack by merely inserting it past the bottle retainer and allowing it to rest on top of the bottom bottle.
3. Loading can be checked by turning the slotted yoke clockwise approximately 110 degrees or one complete cycle of the vending assembly. Be sure to have your left hand ready to catch the vended bottle from each stack. NOTE: Make sure the slotted yoke is turned as far as possible to prevent the mechanism from locking on the next cycle.
4. Make sure bottle retainers are free and centered to hold two rows of bottles in place. Push bottles to rear of stack if necessary to free retainers.
5. Make sure slotted yoke and coin mechanism shaft pin have returned to their normal rest postition before closing door.
There is a lot of other info on the vending cycle etc.
I hope this helps!

I dug a little deeper into my manual - it is one of those 3-inch binders that covers almost all the soda machines by the major manufacturers of the 50's.
At the back of the Westinghouse section, it has schematics and parts list for the WC-42T, WC-96T and the WC-160T.
All three machines used the same parts in most cases - like the coin box.
I think I have a coin box also if you are interested - let me know and I'll check.
So, I think my post above should answer your loading question as they appear to be just varying sizes of the same machine.

No, you definitely dont want the MD manual, that wont work.  I do have the Installation, Operation, Service and Maintenance (with Trouble Shooting charts) and Part Replacement - Major components sections for the WC-42T, which may help if put with the stuff that collecture has.  I also have the parts list for the WC-42T, WC-96T and WC-160T with exploded views if you want that too.  Just PM me your address and I will send it all over to you.  Check out my other manuals and see if you need anything.  If I have an extra copy of any of it laying around that you need, I will drop it in the mail to you.

That is all I have too, but mine is not scanned - still in the binder.

Thanks everyone for the info. I wanted to find a manual before I loaded the machine.  This is the only machine I have that loads this way. I am use to the Selectivends, and the chest boxes. Found excellent resources here. Thanks! '<img'>
