So I found a local refrigeration place that is willing to fix and recharge my chilling system for a fair and reasonable price. So I have now turned to fixing up the wiring system which look like a rat's nest and all sorts of open splices.  When I got the unit, the coin mech had been removed, the bottle release solenoid  disconnected, and the vend area light and socket had been removed and the flourescent light ddin't work.  So I'm not sure if the rat's nest was wired correctly and unfortunately I wasn't lucky enough to have a wiring schematic stuck to the inside of the door.  I was hoping somebody might be able to send me a picture of theirs.  I'm kind of hoping the Lacrosse are all basically the same system just diff numbers of selection.  At least it will be a starting point for me to make educated guesses.  By the way I have a Lacrosse
ICB(ILL)120-12 and heres 2 pics

Sounds like someone began to part out the machine...
It might take some diligence to track down a manual for this model... You could start with several of the advertisers here at SMC...

My six cents,

I'm gonna try to find a service manual.  In the meantime perhaps someone can look over the wiring that i drew out from the machine and let me know if it's correct.  Please excuse my crappy kindergarden wiring diagram

Next thing, here is the bottle release solenoid at the top of the stack,, When i got it both these wires were disconnected. Does anyone have an idea as to which coloured wire attaches to which post? ( you can't see it in this picture but both these wires had taped up splices. I imagine at one point, the one wire was on one side of the missing  vend area light socket and the other came off the other side, it think)

thanks in advance

Good luck!
LaCrosse machines are built real well, but information (and parts) are pretty scarce.  I was talking with an 80-something-year-old gentleman who lives by me.  He used to work down South for a number of Coke and Pepsi plants back "in the day."  He told me that LaCrosse information and parts were hard to come by even when they were making machines!

Hopefully someone has a diagram they can snap for you.

That's what I thought Brent.  I went through and redid the wiring, I did some better splices and used some connectors and then used heat shrink tubing to seal it all up.  My cooling system should be back from the refrigeration guys next week and I bought a coin unit which should also show up too. I'll put it all together and see what happens. Even if I can't resurrect the vend part at least I got a pretty cool self serve beverage unit.

I'm a little confused by your solenoid picture.  Is one of the disconnected wires from the solenoid and the other from the switch?   '<img'>

You're right that is a switch in the forground. What I really need to do is multimeter and do some continuity testing so establish what is what and what needs to be connected to what.

Misread your post. Yes those wires in the inset pic are pulled away in the main pic to get a good picture, I should have explained that. As I said above I'm do some continuity testing to figure how it goes together.
