Tom -

The interior of the machine has a light coating of oil on it, and has some heavier build-up in the corners. Overall, fairly clean. The vend/cycle counter show only 210 vends/cycles. Here are some pics of the inside:

Wow...that is clean - I guess the profits were good!
210 vends?....that's nothing!
Looks like it uses a regular old slider rejector. You could switch that out easily to make it a nickel or dime.
How much does it cost? I don't see cost anywhere on it.

This is so cool, I would also like to have one.

Ok, just how does this work?  There must be a hotplate and a butter reservoir somewhere?  Drop in a coin, a few kernels of corn are dropped onto the hotplate, when popped do they get sprayed with butter then accumulate behind the plexiglass window?

That's cool!    How do people find these things?

Just the right size of machine.

Tom - The machine was originally designed to vend off of a dime.

Dave - This machine dates back to the early 50's.

Glen - Pretty close, after the corn falls into the hopper, it actually gets partially, just a tad bit, submerged into the cooking oil. As the cam rotates around the hopper lifts out of the oil and then almost gets "spit out" with a little bit of force into the drop chute to go into a bag. It actually gets all of it flavor from the cokking oil, which ever kind you decide to use. Normally it would use a Coconut Oil seasoning blend but is super unhealthy. The guy that I got the machine from did some research and found that Macadamia Nut Oil works great and tastes good too. It has a very high smoke point which makes it reall nice for cooking/popcorn machines. The only real drawback is the price. It costs about $50 for a gallon!!

Great Machine, How big is it overall? I love the tag on the inside that says" Remember, Profits are Lean when the machine is not clean"... wish they would have posted that inside the v81 I"m working on now... it's a mess inside!
Send us each a few kernals of corn se we can have a little sample.
