Hello,
A couple of months ago I baught a coin mechanism thinking it was for a Vendo 44. After won the auction (ebay) someone sent me a message saying it was not for a 44. Maybe he just wanted to buy it from me. Anyway, I looked at a lot of vendo 44 machines and a lot of them had the same mechanism as the one I have. I was wondering if anyone had any info on that coin mechanism and on what kind of machine it could go. The small coin mechanism next to it is for a V-39. The shaft measures 1 1/4" on the front and 2 15/16" on the back. Thank you very much for any information about that mechanism. Here is a picture.

Hi Alecigio,
I think that was me that emailed you and no I don't want to buy it from you (unless you want to sell it?). I have about 5 of them.

Anyway, the shaft length in back is one way a mech is different for various machines. Rear pin holes are drilled on the vertical and horizontal and in different diameters also.
It is my understanding that a 2 & 15/16" rear length shaft will fit the Vendo 56RT, 81's, and 110's. This applies to both small and large door mechs.

A longer shaft length is used on the Cav51 (S.D. mech), V39 (S.D. mech) and V44's. I don't own a 44, but this is what I have been told. Like the Cav51 and the V39, the 44 utilizes an actuator shaft pin on the back.
So it seemed reasonable to me at the time.

I do not know what length the 44 shaft is, but somebody around here should have one they can measure.
