Happy New Year everyone. I just wanted to give an update on my condition. Yesterday I was able to walk for the first time. I have to use a walker but I am mobile now. It hurts really bad but they say the more I do it the better it will get. I have to use a walker untill I regain my balance. It is amazing what 3 weeks on your back will do to your balance. So in a few days I will progress to crutches. The best thing is I am able to take showers now. It feels great to actually be clean.
Last night a series of bombs riped through Bangkok. The govt is being verry secretive on their locations and death count. The only place that we know is in Victory monument at the Century shoping mall. It is really scary because I am there often and my Father was there just the day before the bombing. But anyway We are all OK and it hasn't had any impact on us but it makes you feel so sorry for thos innocent people that are hurt or dead. Victory Monument is a common place for foreigners to hang out so alot of the injured are foreigners.
Well I just wanted to let everyone know what is going on. Everyone have a safe and happy new year.

Audiobeer I was hit by a van in Bangkok and shattered my right hip broke my lower back just above the tail bone, and my head went through the windshield and gave me a bad concussion with some bleeding in the brain and had 7 stiches just above my right eyelid.
Since I wrote the last message I was up again and actually left my room and went down the hall on the walker. They also brought me a wheel chair and my dad pushed me around. We went down to the 6th floor and there is a nice garden outside. We went out there and hung out for a while. It was nice being outside. I hadn't been out of my room in 3 weks. It was really nice

Great news, glad to hear you are able to get up and mobile. They were reporoting over here that there was six seperate bomings in Thailand and that there were two people killed. No one taking credit for it yet....

Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.
