Is it just me or are people dirty, the dude who I got this 44 off of said he had it in his office and used to keep beer in it.

I finally had time to go in my garage and inspect the machine better, I was like disgusted, dirt grime, broken beer bottles inside the machine and muck stuck to the inside everywhere.

But low and behold the bottle rack seems to be fine minor rust, tub inside is clean as whistle and even the coin mech works, so I'll probably send it out to be cleaned up.

The chrome on the front needs to be rechromed and a few other minor details...  But what is it with dirty slobs, they want 2k for a machine yet they cannot even get off there butts and take some of the dirt out with a vacum or something.

Well this should be an easy resto provided the inside of the machine doesnt have any rust.

things could have been worse, playa...

Josh had what looked like a rat's nest inside a Jacobs 26 once.

Worse, if you buy a machine out of Elyria, Ohio, you just might get a complimentary she-male video!

That's pretty much par for the course - sometimes you get lucky and find a few old silver coins preserved by syrup.

Yep! Which can be good... the worse the owner thinks it looks the less they
think it's worth... I got 2 Mercury dimes from my first 7up square top stuck in syrup... kinda cool.

It look something like this! It gives you a good sense of accomplishment after you cleaned it up and see the difference you made.

Some of the things I just read are just way to funny....  lol,  I feel bad no old dimes in my 44, though I wish I has as much space under it the one in the pic there...
