Choice Vending CVC 168-5

Has anybody had luck with messing with the Spindles on a CVC 168 so it does not stick cans and make then explode or switched a section to deliver beer bottles?  Anybody get it to work with advice?  Mannual anybudy.  I also need some refill bulbs.
