Hello Chaps. I have been on the look out for an original clock now for a while.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ORIGINA....iewItem

I found this today. The price if it stands at what it is will work out at about $230.00. Is that a good price. Does anyone recognise the clock?? I was holding out for a Pepsi or DP but 7-UP is okay. My wife and kids want to get it for Christmas.

Any help as always gratefully accepted.

Petretti's guide has one very similar, 14" in diameter with a value of $285.

Hi Glen

thanks for the info. I have just heard from the seller and he states that the motor is on 240v
and that it is original. I know that a fair bit of Americana makes it way from Malta. (Was there US Bases there I wonder) and that there are 16 people watching the item so looks like there might be some stiff opposition.

I don't ever recall 7up using the "ALL FAMILY DRINK" slogan here in America.    Anyone?

Did a quick search on Google and found this

Not very PC in today's world.

Also found this

So I guess they must have used that phrase for a while

Also found this

http://cgi.ebay.com/7-UP-TH....iewItem

This looks more European.

The seller told me how many were watching. Wouldn't it be great if that info was available to any potential buyer too. Great as long as you are not a seller.

I'd definitely grab that if I were you, Dave.  It's a bit out of the ordinary which is a always good thing.

Yeah, the guzzling baby is priceless.  From a time when people actually had a sense of humor...  '<img'>

Hello Bob

Good news. I got it. Only bid. I think the idea that it is from overseas with no paypal puts people off.

Will ook great in my room. Might treat myself to that Ad with the baby now to compliment it.
