I have two Coke machines I want to get painted before the end of the the year, and I have a local auto body shop that agreeded to paint them cheep for me (they do nice work on cars, and they consider this a different challange for themselves).  The one thing I need to do buy the paint for them.  I want the machines to be as close to the origional colors as possible, and I need to know how much paint I need to buy (and essentially how many coats).  Reading other posts I see that I S.W. or Dupont seem to be logical places to search, but just interested in all of your oppinions.

Vendo Standard (a darker red would be nicer)
Cav. 80C (standard square top)
and then how much white paint for the lettering on the vendo, and the top of the Cav.

Thanks,

Each machine will require at least 1 quart of red but will leave  nothing left over, so if a mistake is made or for future touch-ups. 3 quarts of paint will cost the same as 1 gallon so I think the latter is advised. Besides you will have material left over for your third machine (providing these friends will take on a third machine)Cheesy
As far as white paint on the Standard cooler, if someone is hand lettering it they won't use the same type of paint as the spray paint you are buying.
And you should really just choose your color red and let your bodyshop order the type of paint that they are most comfortable working with.
