Even though I'm against any repros of vintage signs... These Look really nice.. I am sure glad you guys are marking them as repops though... I might just get on for the patio...I'd hate to put my original out there....

They were placed anywhere Coke would let them... Wanted to do a different size and shape.
Funny I hated repro stuff too... then when the real things went out of sight (even when they're in
a grade 5- condition) I decided since I do art why not try to do some nice, DATED signs that guys that like them can hang up and display and not worry when the kids draw on them or scratch them...
I have a few mint/near mint originals that I never display because of that...
Looking to do a large  (18X30) Pause Drink Coca-Cola Next with the sunburst behind the bottle.
We did a thinner one of that but I think I like these larger signs better...

I don't mind them as long as they are dated and the sizes are not even close to the originals.  The one above for example is 37" tall, where the originals are 54".

I like that sign even though I also hate the idea of reproduction signs. It looks so exact.I am interested how does one go about making a sign like this?? Don't worry I'm not going to start making them in my garage but I have always wondered how signs like these (real and repro) are made. Especailly the painting on metal of the different letters and objects. How does it happen??

Dated meaning the date/year is stamped on there somewhere so nobody can pass them off an as original ?
