I bougth a vmc 44.  Anywhere I can get a manual for the machine?   Also.  The machine is in good shape - cooler works - but some of the guts seem to be missing.  I have no key but it seems the door would open if it didn't hit the press down lever.  I can't get in to see what is missing.  What am I doing wrong???   Yes, I am pretty green on this model.  It looks as if the coin mech was removed.  Any help is greatly appreciated.  thanks!!!

Welcome aboard!

On the 44, the handle will turn counter-clockwise, aligning with the opening, in order to open the change door. It will take a little effort but will turn.

Good luck.

Don't know if anyone responded to you yet, but parts are available , some not all, from Steve or Steve at Funtronics or Soda Jerk Works... both of their contact info is availble on the links on this website and on the home page... I've bought parts from both...
Good luck

Have you seen the other post for the 7-UP 44. Must be some parts there you could use.

There are a few people here that will probably have some of what you need. Just stick around for a little while. Its amazing how bits turn up.

Welcome aboard Sodak Bob,
can you post a picture of the innards of your 44. That way we can tell you what you have and don't have. Since the vending handle was intact, your coin mech should be there. Your probably just missing the slug rejector. Terry@Sodaworks
