Vmc-33, change setting on coin mech.

I had a VMC-33 restored. They set the machine to vend without inserting the dime.Does anyone know how to change it back so that a dime must be inserted in order to vend.If the coin mech. needs to be removed could you include info. on how to do that.       Thanks

Sea- This is easier than you might have thought! On the left side of the coin mech,(your right side as you look at it)and about level with the shaft of the crank handle, you will see two #6-32 screws. These hold open two "hammer heads". The one on the left is for nickles, the one on the right is for dimes.  You want to leave the nickle side in, while un-screwing the dime side. In fact, watch what happens as that screw is backed off, it allows the head to lock the tumbler until a dime is inserted.
To set for a nickle only, reverse this process.
Same process for vendo 39 and small door 81 and 110.
