(1) Ok here is a thought ,If you were told you could have one machine and had to get rid if the rest which one would keep and why
(2) If you had your choice of any machine to own which one, And would it be restored or would it need to be restored
and why.
(3) And which one out of the two would you keep
and why.

I'll bite.
If I only were to have one it would be a cavalier 96 or 72 because they have a readily available modern coin mech, feed lots of bottle sizes (including the new plastic Coke .5 liter), have multiple selections yet still have rounded corners, external coin box, and a good paint scheme.
If someone were to give me one, ANY one, just for my enjoyment now, no resale value etc. I'd take a Jacobs 35, primarily because I love the look of it and it's not very big.
I have a Cavalier 96 but wont sell it to buy the Jacobs because I can really only have one machine and well, my reason is above. I always like to get unrestored but nice and complete machines, then restore them myself, just the way I function.

Thank's Nate for not letting me hang out there.
Well here mine.
I would Have to keep my 7Up Slider because it can hold any
thing that you like even A water mellon( and because it has
a new compressor in it )
And for any machine out there, I would have to say it would
be a Vendo 63. I just like the looks of those when there
all lit up and they are just the right size for a family room.
And it would have to be unrestored So I could do it myself
it is a good feeling that I get when your done restoring
something and you know you did it.
And out of the two I would have to say I would keep
the Vendo 63 and it would be for the reason's above.

My Input
If I had to keep only one of my machines (I have 5) I guess it would be my Pepsi Slider. As the other guy said it has multible uses, small, a virtual work horse and the 50's Pepsi bottles look the coolest to me.
If I could own any machine it would be the Coke or 7-up Vendo 81. I would like it unrestored and fix it up myself for the pleasure of it.
And lastly, I would keep the Vendo 81 because they are hard to come by, remind me of my childhood and look fantastic. Besides I can always find a slider! Usually cheap!

I personally like the look of the Vendo/VMC 81's as well as the functionality.
As for any machine, that's a little tougher... First, I'd definately like a nice original machine! Maybe an Icy-O, Glascock Deluxe, Vendo 17, VMC 81-RC, Mills 45... Something a little different than the average machine!
Unfortunately, all I have at the moment is an unrestored V-81B(small door) which I will keep since I'll eventually restore it...
