I got my Gamesroom last year. The wife calls it the black hole. In there at the moment is a V-39, Jacobs 50, Wurlitzer 1900, Rockola Empress Seeburg JL, a 1950's English Petrol (Gas) Pump, A couple of Seeburg Wallboxes, Two Candy wall hangers, Drive in Movie Speakers, A NY Walk Don't Walk and a few Rock & Roll Posters. Oh and my newest toy a Dole Dispenser.

Like Bubba, I don't currently have a Gameroom. YET.... '> I just put my house on the market yesterday and am getting ready to finalize the construction plans for my new home. Going from a 3 bdr. 1700 sq. ft. on a slab to a 4 bdr. 2100 sq. ft. over a full basement!! A Gameroom is definitely in the plans.

Also like Bubba, my stuff is sorta spread out around the house. Right now I have:

1969 Gottlieb Airport EM Pinball, 1976 Gottlieb Spirit of 76 EM Pinball, Stoner Jr. Candy Machine, 1954 Seeburg M100BL Jukebox, Cavalier 55 Coca Cola Machine, Vendo 210 Ice Cream Machine, Vendo Coin Changer, various antique tube radios and other paper/cardboard/metal advertising.

Just a quick question for the guys/gals that either built their gamerooms from scratch or re-wired. What sort of circuit protection did you go with? I know a lot of people go with power strips/plug in surge protectors, but did any of you go another direction? Just curious.

When I biult my gameroom at my last house(Photo Gallery), I utilized wall switches to control the top half of outlets so I wouldn't have to turn each coin-op individually. Certain wall switches would turn on certain outlets, thus turning on whatever coin-ops where plugged into that particular recepticle. The bottom recepticles where always hot so that if I had a soda machine plugged in, it would function independently of the wall switch that controled the top half.
This worked quite well for me...

If you are building the house tell the electrican what you want in the room. Coke machines etc. He will then make sure the electrical can handle the load.  Most normal bedrooms have all the outlets on one 15 amp breaker.  I would think you need at least 3 20 amp circuit breakers & plenty of outlets for your toys.  Extra is good  not enough outlets is fire hazard.
