I have had this coke machine for over 15 years...The refrigerator just quit chilling...It still hums as usual...But alas...No more cold soda/adult beverage

It says that it uses F-12 refrigerant. Is this the same as R-12? How would I convert this to R-134? Thanks for any help...

Wecome aboard! Looks like a late model Cavalier 64. Interesting graphics on there.
Couple of questions:
-Do both fans work? (underneath and next to the compressor)
-Is the compressor running and getting warm (or do you hear the fan)? (you may need to actually feel it, but use a gloved hand since it could be hot) If yes, does it keep running or shut off?
Also, watch out for Markito. He's gonna give you

Thanks for the quick reply....The compressor is vibrating...Fan downstairs is pulling air through the lower heat exchanger...when I open the machine I hear a fan inside and can feel air moving around inside the machine...compressor is cool to the touch after running for about 5 mins...If I turn off the switch the compressor stops humming, the fan inside stays on and the fan downstairs turns off...
