I picked up my Cavalier today. It's in pretty decent shape. The guy I bought it from had it in his basement for the past 12 years and had to move in to a smaller place. Didn't have much time for talking since it was raining. Looks like it has had three lives - Coke, Pepsi and back to Coke. When you open the main door you can see some Pepsi Blue. Also, in a few spots where it is scratched you can see the blue.
Is there an adjustment for the bottle door? It seems to be a little low and is scraping the bottom (this is where you can see the Coke Red under the Pepsi Bue (that is under the current Coke White).
Overall, not a real bad machine. I'm letting it sit upright tonight and I'm going to clean it up a little and remove the free-vend spring that he installed before I plug her in.
Here are pics of the outside and inside:

The worst area is on the edge of the door. Must have hit something a number of times opening. Here's a pic of that and the dragging of the bottle door:

Brent - you should be able to loosen the screws on the doors hinges and shift the door. Doesn't look like it would take too much to get it high enough to not rub. If you need extra play then you may need to play with screws on both the door and machine side.

Very nice machine Doc. Can't believe it has been repainted twice! Looking at the chips on the edge of the door I can't see any indication of blue paint. Apply plastic chrome strips to the edges and hide those chips. The blue below the bottle door could be grey primer? And looks like only the breaker strips are painted blue ............ easy fix

The "white" that you see in the chips is really blue (camera flash). Yes, the compressor area is blue, there is a little bit of overspray on the backside of the door and the hidden light bracket is blue. I want to rip the fugly "Here's the Real Thing" sticker off the sides, but I'm afraid of what might be hiding under it!
