Our Whirlpool refrigerator has finally bit the dust and I have been poking around on the net looking at different makes and models. I have a size issue to deal with and it is not easy finding a model that fits under the cabinet that is built in above the frig space. Anyway - yada yada yada...
Went to Maytag.com and they had this thing listed.

I've seen those at Frys. Sadly not very well made. Creighton

Yep, before I got into soda machines, I looked at one for my home theater lobby and was disappointed by the cheap plastic, etc. A soda machine (any soda machine) is better than the SkyBox. Sorry, but true.

I guess I never really paid attention, as I had not seen them. It doesn't really matter to me as I do not have any interest in owning one anyway. I am surprised though that Maytag would put their name on junk. Finally found a frig though! Pick it up in 2 days.

I have a friend that has one, It's not very impressive and I thought it didn't get that cold , and to much plastic. But my friend thinks it the greatest thing going. Oh well what can you do! you can't educate every one.

As of 2004 Maytag owned Dixie Narco. They may have sold them since then though. I can't remember for sure.
