Illuminate bottle door?

Has anyone found a good way to light up the selections on a C  -72, or similar? Some of my "patrons" have trouble seeing what drinks are available.......not ME, of course. There's not much room inside the door for a fixture. I don't know much about inconspicuous strip lights. Suggestions?

I have given this some thought, but don’t have a machine to try it on just yet...

(Strip) lighting has gotten smaller and smaller and even flexible.  My first thoughts lead me to the rigid or even flexible lighting options in the automotive aftermarket.  The problem being; these lights require 12VDC power; which requires a converter...  This would NOT be a show stopper but an extra step I may be willing to include if I could not find very thin A/C powered lighting.

here's a picture of V-63 I retofitted with a flourecent lamp in between the vending rack & the liner, it turned out pretty nice. there is a Before & after (with & without the light "on")

I ended up buying a 6' rope light from Lowe's for $5.99. It comes with clips to attach it, and I could use the same screws that screw through the door liner and hold the bottle door bezel to attach the clips. In other words: no new holes. The rope light is low voltage- just like Christmas lights, but plugs right into a 110 outlet. It looks pretty good - I just have to watch that bottles sliding down (after one selection is removed) don't catch onto it.
