I just wanted to let everyone know that I am still alive.  The past couples weeks have been crazy to say at best.  I have received the donations and I will have the manuals out on Monday in CD format.  Thanks for your patience.  I have received orders from the Army and will be moving this summer to Castle Rock, CO and working in Denver.  House hunting and traveling have taken its toll the past couple weeks.

Now my question.  If I silkscreen an image onto glass will light still pass through from a flourescent bulb?  Just a thought.  I will have the equipment here shortly but don't want to waste the time planning if it will be to thick and not allow light through.  Input is appreciated.  I do plan to make up some emblems this way however if that is feasible.

Thanks

Tim,
This can be done but you must use translucent paint.  I have painted small jukebox plastics that had faded with translucents and it worked OK.  Thick / thin spots and brush marks are a problem if a brush is used.  Spraying works good  -I guess silk-screening would lay down a nice even coat also.

It'll show through...  Most of the "Exact change" bezels are painted and you can see them.  On a larger scale, the panel on my squirt machine is painted and it shows up great.
